Glenview - Staff

Tyler Krager PGA Professional

I am the Facility Manager & Head Golf Professional at Glenview Champions Country Club and have been a member of the PGA of America since 2014. I earned my degree in Sports Management from Millikin University where I also played golf. I have been in the golf business since 2006 and have spent time at The Country Club of Decatur (IL), Shoal Creek Golf Course (IL), and Abilene Country Club (TX). Since coming to The Villages in 2016, I have been the most surprised about the number of golf cars travelling this beautiful place and how great this weather is throughout the year. It sure feels great to be out of the winds of West Texas and the cold winters of central Illinois! I am happily married to my beautiful wife Jenna, and enjoy spending my free time with my daughter, Sloan, who was born in October of 2016.

Sue Monk Assistant Manager - Inside

Hometown: Reno, Nevada

I moved to The Villages in 2004 from Reno, Nevada when I retired from Washoe County as a Programmer/Analyst. I enjoy golf, kayaking, biking, and our rescued Boston Terrier “Otis”. I love working for GMS and have been so since 2005!

Desi Trabucco Assistant Manager - Outside

Prior to moving to Florida, Desi worked in the construction industry for over 35 years and enjoyed living in multiple states across the USA. When he is not golfing, he likes to spend time with his wife, Angie and travel to the many beaches that Florida has to offer. Desi is a proud parent to his two children; Michael (of Northern Virginia) and Dana (of Lancaster, Pennsylvania). He has four wonderful grandchildren and loves spending time with them. Please say hello to Desi the next time you visit Glenview Champions Country Club.

Barry D. Wythe Assistant Manager - Inside

Hometown: Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Barry and his wife, Maureen, moved fulltime to The Villages in April 2013 from Egg Harbor Township in southern New Jersey where they resided all their lives and raised their two children. Their children and younger grandchildren still live in South Jersey, while their eldest grandson is serving in the Pacific Fleet of the U.S. Navy.

Barry retired from Law Enforcement as a Detective Lieutenant in 2005 from the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, Special Prosecutions Section Commander and later served as the Administrative Chief for the Sheriff, Office of Professional Responsibility. Maureen held a verity of retail and wholesale positions while caring for their family.

Prior to retiring to The Villages, Barry and Maureen often visited family here and have watched the community grow from CR466 south. They enjoy the evening town square entertainment and country rides on their Harley Davidson. While golf was huge in deciding to move to The Villages, it was the cleanliness, shopping and dining convenience, and active adult living that proved to be the major factor.

Barry has been a Team Member at Glenview Champions Course since September 2014. During his tenure at Glenview he has worked every outside position and gained insight into the day to day operations of the Outside Staff that he uses to ensure a most enjoyable golf experience for residents and guests.

Jackie Strecker Assistant Manager - Hybrid

Hometown: Kansas City, Mo

After 23 years in the airline industry, Jackie and her husband Larry (also a Country Club employee) retired in 2000 and moved to Florida from Kansas City, MO. Jackie started working as an ambassador at Chula Vista and Mira Mesa in 2006, she transferred to Havana Country Club soon after its opening working as a starter, mentor to new employees, and eventually training as an Outside Manager. After ten years at Havana the opportunity arose to work at Glenview Championship course as an Outside Manager, and so the story continues!
