Cane Garden - Staff

David Williams PGA Certified Professional & Facility Manager

Hometown: Oxford, FL (born in Jacksonville, FL).

Moved to Wildwood, FL when I was four years old. While growing up, I watched The Villages grow (from my backyard) to become a golf and retirement metropolis. After college I traveled the country for two years teaching golf for a renowned company. As luck would have it, my career returned me to the place I knew the most—The Villages. I helped open the beautiful Cane Garden Country Club in December of 04’, and have been here ever since serving as the PGA Professional-Facility Manager.

My hobbies include: Spending time with my family, golf, fishing, barbequing, and anything else outdoors. I’m always looking to learn something new.

David Carbary Assistant Manager - Inside/Outside

Hometown: Auburn, New York

I was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of Central NY. There, my wife Debbie and I raised our daughter. Professionally, I was employed by the New York State Department of Corrections at Auburn Correctional for 31 years as a Computer Repair Instructor. In December 2011 after several visits we moved to the Villages and purchased a home in the Village of Tamarind Grove. I had the pleasure to join the staff of Evans Prairie CC in August of 2012 and open the facility in November of that year. I have enjoyed my time in the Villages playing golf and meeting a wide variety of people.

Nina Menci Assistant Manager - Inside

Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Moved to the Villages in April 1998. Started working for the Golf Division at the Aqua Range in June of 2004 and was fortunate enough to be transferred over to Cane Garden for the Grand Opening in December of 2004. I found myself making Cane Garden my second home filled with lots of friends and many happy memories. My passions are playing the games that thrill me one moment and frustrate me the next – golfing, bowling, gardening and dancing with my hubby.

Tish Pasiewicz Assistant Manager - Inside

Hometown: Oswego, Illinois

My husband Ken and I moved to The Villages in 2011 from Oswego, IL and we also lived in Michigan for 15 years. Although my background was in computer support, I found out I enjoyed working in golf course maintenance, which I did for 6 years. When we moved here, a golf course job was a natural choice and I was happy to join the staff at Cane Garden in 2012.

Tom Donahoe Assistant Manager - Outside

We have 2 grandchildren, Elisha and Emma.

I served in the US Air Force for 8 years and was stationed in England, Washington State and Thailand. After my discharge, I entered the San Francisco Police Department and 31 years later I retired as a Captain. I was then appointed the Assistant Director of the Minneapolis 9-1-1 center and remained in that position for 10 years.

Susan and I moved to The Villages in March of 2010. We currently live in the Village of Mallory Square and are enjoying the village lifestyle. My wife is very active in the art (painting) community and I enjoy golf and swimming.
